Encurralados no Paraíso

Bill Firpo (Nicolas Cage) se cansou de roubar e assim se retirou do crime, para administrar um restaurante em Nova York. Mas seus dois irmãos, Dave (Jon Lovitz) e Alvin (Dana Carvey), conseguiram liberdade condicional da época do Natal e convenceram Bill que ele estava sendo procurado em Nova York por um simples motivo: na prisão ficaram sabendo de um banco na pequena cidade de Paraíso, Pensilvânia, que está esperando para ser roubado. Após várias confusões roubam 275 mil dólares, mas sofrem um acidente. No entanto, são ajudados e ironicamente vão passar a véspera de Natal na casa de Clifford Anderson (Donald Moffat), o presidente do banco. Uma tempestade de neve os impede que deixem Paraíso e além disto são pessoas tão hospitaleiras que Bill fica com remorso e pensa em devolver o dinheiro, pois são todas as economias daquelas pessoas.
